Quilt as you go Sewathon
Sunday 12th of June, 10 am till 4.30 pm
The humming bird quilt is an interesting array of directional lines made prominent with light and medium shades of fabric.
Have a fun day whilst you stitch and flip as many blocks as you can and at the end of the day I'll show you how to join them together with my fully machine sewn quilt as you go method.
You can make it scrappy from your stash by cutting up 2 1/2" strips or just use 2 jelly rolls.
The finished quilt size is 62" square which is a generous lap size.
The quilt can be extended with a 10" wide QAYG border to make the quilt a queen size measuring 82" square. This can be decided upon and fabric purchased after the workshop.
